Despite being busy with her online job, I still managed to persuade my Mija to make me a new header for this blog. I used to have a nice theme for Sketches but a technical glitch (I forgot the term) made the design unusable. So I have to do with an old drawing of my daughter to serve as temporary header. But it took years for me to finally changed it. Now this. Thanks N! 🙂

My daughter is a little disappointed today when her first artwork sale didn’t materialize. A buyer from Seattle was supposed to buy a digital drawing but didn’t pursue the transaction because of the exorbitant shipping fee. The artwork is just a size of a bond paper but the courier company rate is P1,330 (around $27). I told my daughter there will always be a next time.  With the present shipping rate I wouldn’t be surprised if the amount for sending a musiciansfriend.com guitar amp overseas is expensive as well.
N attended their school seminar last year and was able to get Armand Serrano’s autograph. She missed a photograph with the veteran animation artist though.
N was able to secure an Icon Manila certificate when she attended a one-day workshop in 2015. Armand Serrano was one of the speakers.
